FAQ

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE SESSION FEE?
  
Session fees include a lot more than one would think. This fee covers my time (you know we have been chatting back and forth a lot at all hours of the day), talent (photography is a lot more than just pushing a button), cost of equipment, editing of all images, as well as covering the full liability insurance that I provide to all clients while working with myself either on-location or in-studio. I am also constantly taking safety courses, workshops, and mentoring classes to stay relevant and up to date on how I can better serve my clients... all of which are factored into my cost.

Unless otherwise specified, the session includes immediate family {children & spouse}.
Additional family members may be added for $15 per person. Remainder of session fee will be due 24 hours before session.

Sweetest Snaps Photography accepts all major credit cards, cash, or check. Typically your session will be booked online and you will have an online portal to submit payment. If you would prefer to pay cash or check, we can make arrangements for that as well.

*Sweetest Snaps Photography is a registered, tax-paying business and will provide a sales tax certificate for the State of Texas upon request.


HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL TO LOCATIONS?

Typically my sessions are located within Corpus Christi city limits. If you don’t have a specific location in mind, I’m happy to provide location suggestions that are easily accessible around town. For custom locations not within city limits, travel will be billed at $0.25 per mile from Downtown Corpus Christi.


WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO OUR SESSION?

If you are a Newborn client, you will receive a prep packet about a week before your session with a full rundown of how the session will go as well as outfit suggestions and options. 

For Maternity Sessions, you will be given the link to my Maternity Wardrobe where you are able to select one or more of my gowns to wear during your session if you wish. You can also bring your own ideas and outfits, it is just a service that I offer to my clients.

For Family Sessions, I like to suggest that my clients wear something coordinating, but not too “matchy-matchy”. Depending on the season, I highly recommend something with a pop of color. Sure, the classic black or white shirt with jeans is a great look – but we are going for FUN here.

As always, Pinterest can be your best friend. I am also readily available for wardrobe questions as well!

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PRINT MY IMAGES?

I recommend an excellent online-based consumer lab that offers professional-quality prints such as MPix. After you upload your digital files, they mail the prints straight to your home. Upon receipt of your digital gallery, there is a purchase option from one of my favorite professional printing companies. You may use this feature or select your own.

*I do not recommend printing your images at Target, Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens. These labs are not designed to handle printing professional photography and I am not held liable for prints/products not coming out at top quality from these retailers.


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

I get it, things happen in life. Especially when large groups or children are involved. If there is an emergency and you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible. If you do not call or email me {no-show to your session}, I will not reschedule your session. The reservation fee will not be refunded. ** If you cancel within 24 hours of your session, there will be a $100 STUDIO CANCELLATION FEE and your deposit will be forfeited. (Further explained below)


WHAT IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT?

My time is valuable just like yours. Chances are I have already invested a lot of time and energy into you as a client before you even show up for the session. We have chatted back and forth, I have saved that time and day for us to meet, and I have more than likely booked a babysitter if it is after working hours.

I will wait approximately 15 minutes past your session time. If that time has passed and I have not heard from you {phone call, text, carrier pigeon}, your session will be canceled. The original reservation fee will be forfeited and a new reservation must be paid to book a new session.


WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Lastly, there are no refunds on a reservation fee or any portion of the session fee for any reason.
