Baby Everlee was such a bright eyed beauty for her recent one year old Cake Smash Session at the studio. Her mom came to me with the request of a Strawberry Shortcake style session because it is her nickname from her Grandfather and her birthday is also on National Pi Day (3/14).
You know I was ready to take on this challenge and come up with something to blow them out of the water. Mom’s face when I walked in made all of the hard work setting it up worth it. After some adorable portrait style shots of Miss E, it was time for some cake!
When clients book a Cake Smash Session with me, a fully customized setup and cake is provided as part of their package. I send over a questionnaire and ask for examples/photos/description of what they would like and I put my own artistic spin on it. I also order the cake from a local baker that helps bring the custom setup to life. I mean, how DELISH does that cake look?!
This cake was made by Haley’s Custom Cakes in Odem, Texas.
I have a Client Closet available to use for the sessions, but parents can also bring their own specific pieces. Mom had already purchased some pieces for her party and wanted to incorporate them into our session, so that’s what we did! You can’t go wrong with a classic tutu and crown for girls.
